I have these two finished.  Definitely had a difficult time coming up with names for these two 2018 UFOs.  Then I landed on Kerry's two daughters.  One of these days Kerry will be surprised when I name one after her =^.^=!

Sunday Stash Report, June 2, 2019

Just over 24 hours has passed since Mom has traveled back home.  The house is back to the quiet side without her.  We had a great three weeks together.  I always love the time we spend together.

I finished machining in place the bindings on these three recently returned projects from Kerry.  Once I finish the special binding project that isn't shareable right now it will be on to these.  I also have two other quilts that labels are ready to stitch in place.  Then there is Winter-ific that waits more embroidery.  I sure hope DH can find some good movies that we can share over the next week.

My next sewing project will be a second pet bed.  I received a very nice photo of Aliana in her "favorite bed".  Marla of Southern California Abyssinian Rescue (SCAR) made my day =^.^=

Sunday Stash Report, March 24, 2019

I have two more 2018 UFOs done.  Getting closer all the time to finishing off my list.  Both of these come from Pam Buda from the Tokens of the Past Gathering in Red.  The one above is Checkerboard Stars.  The one below is Starburst.  Both finish 24 x 24.  They took more time to cut than to sew.  These you know aren't the names they will end up with, but I wanted to show the completions and the numbers growing of yardage used.

Design Wall Monday, March 11, 2019

Checkerboard Stars is ready to assemble along with the next two.  I'll likely work on this one first.  It is small as are the two that follow.  Checkerboard Stars finishes at 24 x 24.

Starburst will be second unless I get tired of red :)!  Starburst will finish at 24 x 24 too.  Both Checkerboard Stars and Starburst are Pam Buda designs...without "K" names...hint, hint =^.^=

This one is by Lori Bongean called Winer-ific.  It finishes at 19 x 19.  The applique will wait for my return.

This is the applique project, Fit to Frame by Lori Smith, that I have prepared for stitching.  These blocks finish at 6".  The one on the left above was my first block that was stitched during a flight right about this time in 2017.  Not sure when the second block was stitched, but it was probably during a 2018 flight east.  The bottom two are what I will be working on this year.

This one has the trunk in place to start the trip.

This one has no stitching started.  Not sure I like how light the pink berries are on this one.  There might just need to be a change!

Always something at the ready to keep me busy.  Wish me a good flight, great weather, and the rest is covered...awesome good times with my family.

Kilkenny Kat is finished.  This smaller version of Bonnie Hunter's Dawn's Early Light worked perfectly for me.  It gave me an opportunity to sew the design, use blocks from a swap, and use up some long time scraps.  Of course it also gave me an opportunity to use up my Mom's blue scraps and visit the blue shelves at a couple quilt shops!  With this finish I end up with half of my 2018 UFOs finished.

The next two projects, both 2018 UFOs, Checkerboard Stars and Starburst.  Both of these designs are by Pam Buda and a Christmas gift from 2015 from my DH.  The are smaller projects which should go fairly fast.  I have Checkerboard cut out already...let the stitching begin =^.^=

Kontingency
2017 UFO

I am working to ready Koldplay 2019 UFO for taking to Kerry's Quilting.  Tomorrow is Sunshine Quilt Guild monthly meeting where I'll be seeing Kerry.  Kontingency is finished with quilting and comes back to me.  I will be sewing on this project during my flight to visit with my parents.  Guess what I'll be doing Wednesday evening?

I'm sure to get several of the Old Italian Blocks back from members of Sunshine for the 2020 Opportunity Quilt that I am coordinating for the Guild.  The BOM for March will be offered too.  I have Kreepy Kins and Konstitution to share.  It is sure to be a good night with Lynn Mann as our speaker.
