I am very busy on my challenge project.  I have a plan and taking the necessary steps to get there.  Of course I can't share =^.^=

Krush has binding sewn down and ready for hand sewing.  I also have a matching item ready for Kerry.  If you think that is all that is ready to go to Kerry...you would be wrong.

Hope you have a lovely week.

Excited to share Koastline!  I've got this one finished and very thrilled at how it has turned out.  The applique took some time, but as I mentioned...thrilled with the results!  This is a 2022 UFO.

This one is a cute little project from winning Sunshine's March BOM.  I made the two purple tulips just to round out the colors.  The stripe border is in the fabric; nothing that I put together from strings.  I decided to miter the corners.

Going to be a good change for a change!  Hope your week ahead is a good one!

These boots were so much fun to "scrap" together.  I had to stop myself from making more!  The Sunshine sponsored quilt retreat's theme this year is Western.  Karen who's coordinating the event found this cute boot design for all who want to participate can make with a chance to win all the "booty".

Besides these two blocks Koastline has been my focus.  I'm getting so close now.  There are about five more pieces to sew in place.  Then of course come all the berries throughout.  This has been a fun project.

Today I received Krush back from Kerry.  Once I have it trimmed up a photo will be shared.

I hope you found all the Easter Eggs =^.^=

Katching Kluckers, appropriately named by my sister is ready for quilting.  I have to share what was done to the third turkey that didn't make the cut LOL.

I will still have a prominent place.  I have a surprise yet for you on this turkey!  You'll have to wait until the quilting is done...

This is another sort of surprise.  After making Krush (that is in the mail as I write) there were three more hearts.  I decided on making one of the popular bench pillows with two of them.  These two will get the same quilting as the quilt.  The third heart will go for some other charity project that is in work for the future.

I worked on Marilyn's Sunshine BOM for April.  This one had all the fabrics supplied.  It was fun cutting up and resorting the blocks.  Anxious to see who will win this project at the May meeting.

I was lucky at the April meeting!  Winning the tulip block done by Hallie.  I plan a finish with a 1" strip between the tulips the inner border that will likely finish at 3/4" and then the outer boarder to finish at 4".  It will be a nice small wall hanging for the space I try to fill with the holiday at the time.

Today I spent the day hand sewing on Koastline.  I'm so close now to finishing the final side.  The berries will be next to do through out all four sides.  I'll share it along with the western boots for the BOM at the retreat I'm going to in May tomorrow.

Nothing to show as used or purchased again this week.  I warned you that changes wouldn't be for awhile!  Happy Birthday to my closest of friends, Kerry!

Hope your week ahead is a good one =^.^=  Happy Easter!

There is nothing to share on my Design Wall today.  I've been doing loads of hand sewing recently...and...have several more projects to finish before my Design Wall has something to share.

Katching Kluckers needs legs on the three turkeys and a cute slogan on the backing.

Koastline still has lots of berries all around and the fourth side to finish with flowers and leaves.

Bare with me quilting sisters a new project will be starting soon!

Tomorrow there's the first time since January an in-person Sunshine Guild Meeting.  There are all sorts of things to catch up with during the meeting.  Sue Nash is our speaker.  There are BOMs since January to turn in, Retreat information to turn in, 2021-2022 Quilt Annual Opportunity Chances to turn in...the list continues=^.^=

Thank you Kerry for the microwave bowl cozies.  Both DH and I are very anxious to give them a try (along with the fun spices).  Funny I am making chili for dinner tonight.  Had I any indication a treat waited for us in the priority mail package it would be in use with tonight's dinner!

Hope your week is full of quilting!

Kyushu is done.  This is the Bonnie Hunter's #Rhodendundum Trail 2021 Winter Mystery project.  I switched out her pinks for the salmon/orange and also made it smaller.  I am real pleased with the result.  This is a 2022 UFO of mine.

Karryon is done.  This is Lori Holt's Bringing Home the Christmas Tree.  DH  helped to small it down to a finished size that I hoped for.  My wagons have either "man or Christmas slogans as their accent.  This is a 2021 UFO finish.

Kackling is done.  This project starts with a design of Bonnie Hunter's called Punkin' Patch.  It was made for a Sunshine BOM from October 2021 that Pam coordinated.  I was the lucky winner.  I made a few more and figured out a setting.  I call this a success.

I have been doing lots of hand sewing stitching down binding, sleeves, and labels this last two weeks yet there is still hand sewing to do.  Turkey Trot that know will "run" with the name Katching Kluckers thanks to my sister.  The turkeys need legs to run :)  I also have Koastline's fourth side and all the berries on all four sides.  This can be good TV time with DH if he could find some good movies...he is trying!  Maybe I'll have some turkey legs to share with you tomorrow.

Hope your week ahead is a good one =^.^=

Turkey Trot!  The top is on the right.  I have sewn the outer border pieces together and then attached them to the center.  On the right is a third turkey that was ready for the wall hanging, but it turned out too long to fit the space.  I went down to two and will be putting this one on the back with other fabrics from the fabric line.  I also used up the remaining 2 1/2" squares.  The binding will be yet another from the fabric line.  It is a burgundy with beige leaves.

The last part of making the top is the appliqued legs stitched down.  The top one on the top shows how they are to be placed.  I still have the Avery label paper on holding the shape to follow for stitching.

I am in search of a name for this project...  So far I have learned there are seven types of turkeys, females don't need males to produce off spring, turkeys have better eye sight than humans, turkeys can recall voices.  Hmm...lots of trivia here, but nothing so far comes to mind that is useful for a name.

Hope your week ahead is full of things you love to do =^.^=

Sunday Stash Report, April 3, 2022

Oh my!  These are many of the projects that are requiring my attention.  Kerry was keeping pace with me, quilting as fast as I was making the tops.  The only one not quilted in the photo is Koastline (back left blue).  I have finished the vine and stems; ready to start the leaves and flowers of the last side.  There are some smaller circles or berries to sew in scattered places next to the vines on all four sides and I will be doing a happy dance!

I did finish the March Sunshine BOM.  Its perfect for springtime.  Wonder what other colors of tulips will be turned in.  Maybe I will be the lucky winner.

There are no finishes or purchases to change the number this week.  I am anxious to get some HAND SEWING done so there may not be anything changing the numbers for awhile.  You never know!

Hope your week ahead is a good one =^.^=
