The pillow sham is done now too.  Time for these two items to be in the hands of my parents.  I am excited to see how they will look in their sewing/office room.

As if I needed yet another project or two in this case to start.  This one is a Bonnie Hunter design that was featured in the Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Volume 13 that is called Dawn's Early Light.

Bonnie will be featuring this in her new string book coming out soon.  All the pieces are ready now with the exception of the blue HSTs.  16 blocks will be made and then wait to see how the borders come together.

The second project is for me to work on during the long flight for the wedding that soon takes place.  Fit to Frame: Pattern 6 by Lori Smith, block 1.  A quilter has to have something to stitch...right?

Kourtepointe
88" x 88"
The binding was finished on Kourtepointe.  I am pleased with the pink binding.  Bonnie Hunter's design En Provence is one of my favorites.

More than best friends sisters at heart!
Happy Birthday Kerry

I have been busy in my sewing room all Sunday with the exception of brunch.  DH and I went out to one of our favorite places to watch the NBA Playoffs.  The weather was perfect in every way.  I don't have much to show and share.  The garters are done with the bride to select which to use.  You must agree that she should see them first =^.^=

Kourtepointe is my next project to conquer.  Binding, sleeve, and label are in place with hand sewing to go.  I worked on the later for a bit before getting ready for the work week.  Tonight will see more done during Dancing With The Stars.

See other projects today at Patchwork Times and stop by Kerry's Blog to wish her the best of birthdays!

Kloggs arrived at my sisters home.  Here it is on her bed...perfect!

I was busy with Kozy Korners when stitching was going on.

Kourtepointe came back from Kerry so there was some prep work happening with the trimming down, sleeve, and binding.  Today the plan is to work on it and a garter!  I am having fun with these.

The biggest finish on Sunday was the binding for Kloggs.  This quilt gets to travel as soon as I can find a box large enough to hold it!  It measures 120" x 103".  It was such a happy sight to see the other end of the binding!  DH thinks we should look for an area rug in these colors as it brightens up the living room.  Maybe the drapes need changing, because I will not be covering up my new carpet.  Karen is going to be happy with this quilt.

I am working to finish up the sham that will match the twin quilt I made for my parents guest room.  Kerry will get it tomorrow to put some quilting on the top that matches what was used on Kozy Korners.

Kanton Kull is next on the table.  Chapter 4 is in progress...  See other projects through the links at Patchwork Times.

Kissin' Korner 2
2017 UFO
Kissin' Korner 2 is complete.  This second project that I have put together from scraps is Bonnie Hunter's design Kiss in the Corner!.  I changed it up a bit with blue setting triangles.  I'm still out on what the binding fabric will be.  It is ready for quilting.

The day was just to beautiful to stay home...  We went out for Brunch instead!  I did get a few rows of Kissin' Korner 2 sewn together though while waiting for dinner to cook.

Kanton Kull is back out of its storage to be worked on after Kissin' Korners 2 is complete.  I have all pieces cut out for Chapter 4 and the first of the units sewn.  Still quite a bit to go to close the "chapter" on this round.

Mom likes having a sham on the beds in her home.  These are the scraps from Kozy Korners that a sham is planned for.  It won't be identical to the design of the quilt, but it will have the color and some of the fabrics for a 24" x 32" sham.

There was also time to stitch the binding around Kloggs.  Let me say that took a bit of time for the 103" x 120" quilt for my sister.  I started to do the hand work, but became too involved in the last of the remaining episodes of Downton Abbey to do much more than a little over 18".

So much I want done like yesterday...  Hope you have a wonderful first week of April =^.^=.  Hook up with the links at Patchwork Times.

Kissin' Korner 2
2017 UFO
Today I am putting the units together for my second Kiss in the Korner project.  Bonnie Hunter designed this one that is made with 2" squares.  I had a head start on this project due to an oops when I made the first one.  Kissin' Korner 2 will have a fun blue for its setting triangles and happily there is enough for the binding.  This is a 10 yard project all from my stash.  Not quite ready to claim a finish; I will leave that to next week.

UFO Finishes #3, #9, #5, and #1, April 1, 2017

I sure haven't been successful posting my UFO finishes on Patchwork Times before the link up closes.  Some of this has to do with getting them finished during the appointed month.  So this post catches up.  All these are waiting their turn at Kerry's Quilting.
