So I started looking through the designs and didn't get too far before Anything Goes called out "use me"! I'll have to downsize the blocks for a 9" finished block which shouldn't be too much of a challenge for me. So now the path is set. It takes four fabrics for the setting blocks and I have just that. I was wondering how I could work the gray and white prints into my project....
Here are the start of the setting blocks.
What do you think? There is a pieced border to add so I am still figuring out what should go next. I think the yellow is good then perhaps the black...hmm.

I personally love the pop of yellow.
Ooh! The setting is great -- and that lime-yellow really sets off the black and white!
Wow, those alternate blocks look great! I vote for the yellow as the first border - helps bring out the yellow in the blocks.
LOVE the yellow! I can't wait to see what's next.
Looks great! Love the colors and am happy to see that you're putting the borders book to good use! :)
On my goodness I thought those were gorgeous blocks all by themselves but put them together with the setting blocks and it's just amazing!!! Love love love the splash of yellow
EXCELLENT! This takes the quilt to a whole new level!!
Wow-Love what you are doing with the setting! The yellow is a great accent for the black and grey!
I like what you have decided to do, the yellow really makes the blocks pop. All the blocks are talking to you, very nice job.
