The top center of BikiniBottom is complete. It was a challenge, not the type of quilt I usually find myself making. I was thrilled when I shared a photo with Faith, our server and friend at Crust & Brew, asking "what theme is this photo depecting?" She thought a second (or "minute" as she would say)...SpongeBob was her response. So I did SpongeBob justice =^.^=
The finishing touches are started here. The colors of SpongeBob according to Gemini AI. Only a splash of red, the reason not so much in the stack. These are 2" x 6 1/2" strips are all coming from my scraps stash YIPPEE! I am thinking to trim down the top a bit; I get the feeling that there is too much sand, not to mention it will finish larger once the piano key border is in place.
Lorna is all set to quilt this Arms Wide Open intended quilt for their raffle basket during the month of November for the production SpongeBob the Musical.
