These will all go into my Night of Indigo Blue project.  I'm to the part where more needs to be cut and assembled.
Although it is hard to see the papers in the foreground are for more of the snowball and first border units.  Wish me luck on finishing this as yet named project during the week.  I'm anxious to be working on something new!
You can see in this photo the progress I have made to date =^.^= Enjoy your week!

Sunday Stash Report, October 28, 2018

At the end of another week for stash counting.  I still have my Night of Indigo Blue on my wall.  I have all the units done for the top border of square in a square blocks; just no room to put them above the string border.
The final two rows, both string and square in a square borders are being assembled.
Getting very close, but nothing yet to count.  This leads me to how much to count!  There will need to be a little bit of math to calculate the yardage since only photographs got me to this conclusion.

It may not appear like much of a change from yesterday's viewing, but it is.  I've added to my Night of Indigo Blue with more units.
I assembled seven snowball units,
two star pointed border units,
two plain border units,
and eight square in a square units.
I have marked and cut more pieces to make additional units of nine-patches, string units of all three units, and square in a square units.  These are fabrics for more nine-patches and square in a square units.
I will raid the neutral and blue stash yet again tomorrow.  With my 6 1/2" square there is some trimming to do too.  Still a way to go, but closer each day.

Hope that your week's spectacular!

Sunday Stash Report, October 21, 2018

I have made quite a bit of progress this past week on my Night of Indigo Blue.  I have the square in a square block figured out...yippee!
There are a number of string units to make as well as indigo nine patches.  I am in to cutting yardage on the neutrals.  This is a very good thing.  I will be working on strings this coming week.  So do you have something fun under your needle?  Halloween is right around the corner and I expect there might be a goblin or two out their having a costume in the works.

Nothing moves the numbers this week.  Perhaps next week.

This is my Design Wall at the moment.  It is one of my 2018 UFOs.  I am way behind on these :(  I shared with you the quilt, Night of Indigo Blue by Bonnie Hunter yesterday.  For those who missed it here are some of the images again.
Just finished quilting.  A white scrappy border is planned.
Ready with the four square-in-a-square borders
Attaching the borders
Back selection
I know I have the border unit sized wrong.  I will be fixing that!  Must be a larger blue square in the middle and still finish at 4".  Back to the drawing board on this unit.  Originally it was decided to make a smaller project, but now I'm leaning towards a full size one.

Sunday Stash Report, October 14, 2018

I have been working this past week on a new project.  It is part of my 2018 UFO line up!  It has been called 9-Patch Snowball until yesterday.  I am still not entirely sure that I have it called correctly.  This design by Bonnie Hunter appeared this time last year.  When I went back through her blog it appears to be called Night of Indigo Blue.  Until I have a clever "K" name for it...so it will be called.
The stings so far have come from a block swap from a few years back.  The participants were to make several neutral string blocks.  I have used them for two different projects, but need to make more to get my project requirements fulfilled.
This is what I will be aiming for.  When Bonnie discussed this project she did not provide measurements...so I am taking a guess at it.  I have a fair portion of it complete so check back tomorrow to see my progress.  Enjoy your week!

Design Wall Monday, October 8

Sharing the project I had to keep quiet until a Show and Share took place in Maryland!  I mentioned in a post just after my visit to my parents that I attended my Mom's quilt guild meeting and workshop the following day.  We learned how to make these flowers.  Mom prepared the flowers and I sewed.
I brought the completed flowers home and arranged them into the two projects pictured.  The fabric that we had was enough for 12 blocks.  Mom went back for more fabric to finish the borders.  Don't they look lovely?
I am not partial to yardage only for borders so I created the smaller flower that started with the template from the yellow center of the larger flowers.  I just could not continue the stitch process on the black center...notice the black ink?

These should make for a nice gift don't you think -

Happy to have this UFO complete.  Caleb came up with the name for this one.  Couldn't resist Kreepy Kins!  I put the back together today and it is ready for quilting.  Now to pick out the next UFO to work on...

This block is Sunshine's BOM for October.  It was hard for me to find Fall fabric in my stash.  I think this will work.

Excited to see some numbers change this week!

The first three borders are finished.  Everything is still needs to be assembled, but the flying geese need to be made for the last of the borders.
I have started!  The gray corners need to be cut in pairs.  I doing the stitch and flip method to attach them to the orange geese.  There are many more to be cut and stitched yet...this week's sewing =^.^=

I hope this first day of October has been good for you!  Happy sewing -
