March 2014 UFO
These are the blocks cut out and arranged so far.  There are three more to go before I start assembly.  These last three (the blocks on the left) are darker than the first six.  It all has to do with the fabrics that came in the block's kit.  Yellow as an inner frame and black as a sashing still seems right.
Block Seven, Chair Rail
Block Four, Newel Post
Block Eleven, Anchor Bolts
I've been moving ahead on the gazillion flying geese of Talking Turkey (my Kranberries).  I am squaring them up now, all sewing done.

I have a busy day ahead.  A Buggy Barn workshop making Bunny Trails on Tuesday afternoon and Sunshine Quilt Guild monthly later in the evening.  See lots more projects through the links at Patchwork Times.

Your black and yellow blocks are great! I'm drawn to black and gold... the colors of the college basketball team I follow. :D Looking good!

Love all your traditional blocks - I use them a lot in my own work. Your use of colour is wonderful - a joy to see. xCathy

I'm making Talkin' Turkey too, and when I saw how many flying geese there were, it almost made me change my mind. But I love the quilt, so I'm starting to make flying geese for it. You are doing well on your "Cranberries" quilt. I like the name too.
