Krowkissed is looking oh so fine! I finished Week 8 the Sunflower and Maple Leaf blocks. Now it is on to another house building project. Week 9 starts the House block foundation. Lori Holt (the designer) must have thought best to split the House block into two weeks. I am finally getting close to filling up that big hole in the middle of the top.
The Sunflower block wasn't quite as bad as I thought it might be. Yes the flowers had a lot of ins and outs with the petals, but all in all not bad stitching.
I had hopes of preparing the bottom section that is Week 10 before my travel. Doesn't look like I will get there. So I pulled out another of Jack Dempsey's stamped cross stitch patterns to work on. I stopped by Hobby Lobby for floss on Saturday. I'm ready to dig into another one. This time it will be Kittens.
I have two boxes to open up from Kerry this morning. Two quilts arrived after her magic and now ready for trimming down and binding. Krowkissed isn't the only House being built. Come back tomorrow and see how far along I've come with Kottages.
