Wednesday Workings, August 13, 2025

Almost have 50 done...a halfway point!  I'm making these mostly from my scrap stash.  It doesn't take much fabric, but at least I am moving the dust around in the containers.  Easy to find roof fabric; not so easy to find house fabric.  The yellow windows that I am using in all the houses prevents light fabrics and of course yellow or anything with too much yellow.  Scouring for tiny prints =^.^=

I am finding some fabrics to work with what is in my scrap bins.  Here is the next stack to be used.  I am preparing for two sewing days away from home.  Tomorrow I will be at the Lakeside Library with Sunshine Guild for a Sew In.  Friday I will be at Rosie's.  So much fun to sew with others that enjoy as much as you.

Three yards arrived from one of the recent Stash & Save Connecting Threads offers.  The color was called midnight flowers, but the picture was exactly what I received.  I was surprised by the packaging.  It will require a good pressing before being used.

Besides adding the label to several just finished projects, I finished the leaves of the Sunflower block.  Next up for both this block and the Maple Leaf block is lignin up the next pieces.  This is a bit of a challenge as there is a lot of guess work since no measurements are included in the pattern.  A mistake could cause a serious use of ones seam ripper!

Happy Wednesday
