It is a start!  Certainly not much of one yet but I have been busy making units...
These are the neutrals that will be used.  I opted for all white on white fabrics for my project.  I had hoped to add in a few more different fabrics, but a trip to Beverly's in Clairmont found the store closed.  Something happened to the electricity on the grid in that area.  It had traffic lights out; the traffic was a mess.  All the businesses had closed up for the most part.  I arrived in the area about 30 minutes after the power outage.  Not sure what time it came back on.  We are in the throws of a heat wave so timing was sure not the best.   Needless to say my fabric stash was what destiny had in store for Komatose!
Here are the HSTs that will make more of the blocks on my design wall. The block is one of two for this design called the Lazy Ladder.  I will be making 24 of these.  The two color combinations of the 4-Patches are all sewn and ready.  Pretty good progress made this past weekend.
The Lazy Ladder block goes together pretty fast.  The second block is called Sunday Star.  It has more pieces to it so progress will be a bit slower.  The pieced border is what is going to take the most time.  Come back later in the week and see my progress towards the goal of having a top by the end of September...

More projects can be seen through the links at Patchwork Times.  Enjoy your week.

Sure is a pretty start.
If I had to have that top finished in September, I would fail miserably, but I know you can do it, if anyone can!

Now I can see what the greens are going to. I like the pattern and the white really makes it pop.
No problem, you will have it done sooner than the end of the month.

Fun pattern and I love your colors. Can't wait to see it all together!

This looks great! It definitely caught my eye from the DWM linky. The colours are similar to those in the Fabri-Quilt blog hop I was just a part of! It's going to be such a happy quilt!
