Kurry 2011 UFO |
Next up to finish is the project I started in a workshop earlier this month. This one is a design by Norah McMeeking called Sewing in the Round. (The fabric at the bottom will be the center circle.) There are a few days left in February before I know my next UFO project to work on in March. I am anxious to have this one done. I have yet to decide on a name for this small wall hanging. Any ideas come to mind?
Have a wonderful week and be sure to head over to Judy's Patchwork Times for some more lovely projects by various quilters around the globe.

Kurry is gorgeous. I haven't ventured into her patterns yet. I'm not a huge fan of paper piecing and am afraid I won't like making it. I'll just admire the quilts of all of you who do make them.
Kurry is gorgeous! And good for you for finishing them all - I am SO impressed!!
Another stunning design! Boggles my mind how quickly you put things together once you put your mind to it!
Kurry, that border is the perfect finish, and the new circle block, such a change in colours. love those points.
Oh boy that Kurry sure is beautiful! what great colors and an incredible quilt. Congrats on getting it done!
What a lovely quilt.

Congrats on Kurry! It turned out beautifully! The wallahanging is looking interesting too. I'm not familiar with the pattern, so I can't wait to see what it looks like complete. Sorry I don't have any name recommendations, but I know you will come up with something.
Wow - stunning! And such fast work! The wall hanging looks a bit like a compass to me - and that would go into kompass so easily! Good luck coming up with a good name!
Kurry is stunning! Congrats on the finish.
