Sunday Stash Report, August 13, 2017

I added just a bit to finish Kompass.  The bottom fabric became the binding.  The top gray dot will be for a future project.  That future project is Bonnie Hunter's Pumpkin' Patch.  Have you seen it in Quiltmaker Sep/Oct 17 issue?

Usage comes from finishing a project started in 2012 with Jo's Country Junction.  Each month for the entire year participants were to make one of the 12" x 12" blocks to finish however we decided.  I made three blocks from each of the three patterns by Lori Smith Quilt Squares #1, #4, and #6.  This year one of my UFOs was to put these 12 blocks together into a quilt.  A sashing that worked to bring all of them together was figured out.  I thought the green squares pulled it all in pretty well.  My plan will be for a blue binding fabric once it is quilted.  The blue should pull it in again.

Used this week:  6.5 yards
Used YTD: 98.5 yards
Purchased this week:  1.25 yards
Purchased YTD:  31.25 yards
Net used in 2017:  67.25 yards

Kompass is awesome. I seen this in the making while in San Diego, it is more vivid than shown and it is by far lovely. The sampler is also very nice, good job, San
