With the extension of the entry deadline to July 31st, I have entered three quilts.

Some of you have seen Kastway when it was being worked a couple of years ago.  Kerry will have it quilted in time for the show.  

The other two are already done.  Kurry is the largest of the three.  

Kongure is part of the Sunshine group entry.  The San Diego Quilt Show is late in September.

I'm happy to finally share two projects that were kept secret until last night at Sunshine Quilt Guild's June Meeting.  Kongure took spotlight; voted Favorite Pieced Border.  Thanks Sunshine Members for voting for me.  

Two FQs and a label came my way as a prize.  

Plus, A FQ and a label for each entry.

I did purchase three FQs at $.25 each...what a steal.  I can always use a neutral!

Then came the door prizes that luck was with me once again.  I won one for having worn my name badge and the other was a nice one from three sponsors of our guild; Sew Pro's, Central Sewing Centre, and Cozy Quilt Shop.  I'll be sure to get thank-yous out real soon.

Also coming home with me is a thank-you gift from the Guild for participating in offerings through the membership year.

I certainly came home wealthy with quilty things.  This was a great membership year!
