Here is where I am today with Autumn Love and the Milk Can block.  Those pieces on the bottom are the bodies of the two mice that will finish this block.  I have some embroidery to do also because those mice will need tails. I did find a Fall name for my Autumn Love...Kwiescent.  It sounds the same as Quiescent which is a state of inactivity or rest, reflecting the calm nature of Fall.

Tuesday I spent time with Tom tuning up my 1953 Singer Featherweight.  My mom got it new in 1955 if the date in the original instruction manual scribed in her hand writing is correct.

Tom had a couple of things to update the original pedal and a magnetic seam guide that could be useful.  I will need to pick up some sewing machine oil.  I have a diagram from Tom on where to place a drop after a sewing session.  I plan to use this machine two times this week.  First on Friday at Rosie's and second on Saturday at the Carlsbad Animal Shelter.  On Friday I plan on sewing more tiny houses for the pattern 100 Houses by Tina Curran.  On Saturday for the first time I will meet up with the Kennel Komforters group to make pet beds.

Big news this week!  I updated my kwiltnkats.com website =^.^=  I would love it if you would check it out and share with your family and friends.
