Design Wall Monday, June 27, 2016
I made lots of progress over the weekend on Kayenne. Finally have the centers decided. Well lets just say that this is how I currently like it. Feel free to voice your ideas...
Much of the time was spent preparing the sashing. The Design Wall photograph only shows a sampling of the sashing. The strips are 1 1/2", 2 1/2", 3 1/2" and 4 1/2". The smallest size surrounds most blocks. This one will be quite the puzzle going together.
Just a couple of days until my Sister arrives for a week stay. We have loads of things planned including a sunrise flight in a hot air balloon over the wine country in Temecula, CA. We'll be up before the crows Friday morning.
I hope you are enjoying the projects you are working on. I'm so ready to have Kayenne finish. This May UFO has certainly not been a month long project! Check out others through the links today at Patchwork Times.

That will be such an amazing quilt! You are doing a wonderful job on it. Have fun ballooning!
I am in awe--but I am also glad this is not my design wall. : )
That sashing looks very involved and I don't know that I would have the patience.
This is definitely another stunner, Sandi!
