Today is the day to sew my UFO for August. I have an Iris block by Linda Causee to make for Kourageous this month. I picked out all the fabrics on Friday. Here's what I'll be working with.
Kerry finished quilting Komet. I have to find something suitable for the binding. Hope to get it sewn down for hand sewing during the week.
Komfort Kove was finished this week. I'm thrilled with how it turned out. I just love the combination of fabrics. This shade of blue is one that I could sew with anytime.
This week nothing purchased or used. Next week I will have Crazy Jacks yardage to report used, but its still in too many pieces yet to call it finished. This is a photo of the 10 1/2" blocks for the back along with the binding. Kerry has the top on her design wall for some sewing this week. We hope to get to the quilting on Saturday. Be nice to have this one done a little early. So here's my report for this last Sunday in August.
Used this week: 0 yards
Used YTD: 181.75 yards
Purchased this week: 0 yards
Purchased YTD: 94.25 yards
Net Fabric Used in 2011: 87.5 yards

Wow, it is the end of the month. Guess I better get mine done also. Love your iris fabrics. Your quilt is gorgeous. Judy C in NC
Mine is going on the frame before I got to bed tonight, so probably won't be done by the first, but hopefully shortly after. Love your quilt tops!
Nothing in is good even if there is nothing out. Beautiful quilts. You've got a lot going on in the sewing room.
Oooooh! It's an Iris block. I couldn't tell what it was in your more recent post. Iris is my favorite flower. They're so noble. It is all together yet? I'd love to see it. I also adore the photo of the rich purples you show in this post.
Have a super day!
