Judy at Patchwork Times selected #7 for August's UFO Challenge. My #7 is the Iris flower block designed by Linda Causee from the 24 Flower Quilt Blocks publication. This is the eighth block of my animal theme exotic flowers project that will be called Kourageous. This one I think I'm going to use black, white, and gray fabrics to go along with the Lily by Linda Causee from January. The stems and leaves fabric will be important since there is so much of it in the block. I've not counted all the pieces and parts of the block yet. From the button it looks like it is near the middle of the other blocks regarding pieces. I better get to the counting...
Check back again to see my progress.

You know I love these blocks. Can't wait to see this one come into being. The black and white should be very striking!
Another beauty coming up. I know this will be a one of a kind quilt. Good Job.
That pansy will show up eventually - love this one also. Judy C
