Design Wall Monday, February 10, 2020

I have 24 of the 25 blocks assembled for Kavort (Frolic) on my Design Wall today.  There will be shuffling about to mix up the colors of the blocks more appealingly.  I'm not thrilled with some of the blocks and may choose to convert into setting blocks instead.
These are what's left to work with still.  You can see I haven't continued making into blocks the "lighter" sets in the middle.  Bonnie did attempt to make this a clear hint during the construction of the the Part.  She said make sure there is lots of contrast between the aquas and blues.  I need to listen better =^.^=  I might be using my Clover Seam Ripper soon.

Tomorrow is Sunshine Quilt Guild monthly meeting.  I'll be one of the members presenting our first quilt and a handy technique/tool.  Should be a fun evening.

I think your blocks look great as is, Sandy. That is one thing I like about vintage scrap quilts--the contrast varies from block to block. Sometimes the pattern is obvious and sometimes the colors melt into each other and it is a more subtle look. I like that effect.

As claimed by Stanford Medical, It's really the SINGLE reason women in this country get to live 10 years more and weigh an average of 19 kilos less than we do.

(And by the way, it has totally NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret-exercise and really, EVERYTHING to do with "HOW" they are eating.)

BTW, I said "HOW", and not "WHAT"...
