Krystals
33 x 40
Saturday Mom and I spent the day with Kerry.  It is always fun to get quilts back finished when I visit.  Krystals (Snowy Day by Bev Getschel) and Konstellation and Krown (Star and Crown by Pat Speth) came home with me.  They are both trimmed down, binding is ready for stitching as well as the sleeves.

Today is Mom's fifth day of her three week stay.  Not much change on Kayenne except some "reverse stitching".  I decided against a much lighter background for some of the blocks.  We both continue to get ready for the quilting retreat that starts on Thursday.  A small detour on Wednesday on our way to the retreat hopefully won't leave us without change in our pockets!

It has been a beautiful weather lately; hope that is the case in your area.  See more with Judy's Patchwork Times.

I no longer get that wonderful feeling of getting things back from the quilter, because now the quilter is me. But it does feel really good to get to the binding stage on a project!
We are having beautiful weather, too. Mild temps and afternoon thundershowers. That is the forecast for the whole week! I love it. : )

The weather here is awesome, been outside a couple of times, so nice. Wish us luck an a good day at the casino, lol
