There are times when I need a break from tiny sewing to applique. Because of this I picked up a kit that is already cut out. This is Gleaming from the 2025 Liberty Box (Fat Quarter Shop). I really enjoyed working with this fabric line. All that is left on this one is sewing the blocks together and adding two borders. Wait until you see the outer border fabric; it really adds to this simple design.
What you see poking out of the top are the houses for Kottages and from the left Krowkissed. I plan to start cutting out Home for the Holly Days, Scatter Garden, and Pumpkin Sitting projects this week. Need to have something "sewy" to work on come Friday at Rosie's.
