Kourageous Bellflower is nearly done. I've got to add some embroidery (stem stitches) to the flowers creating sepals and two small leaves at the stem with green thread.
Bellflower (UFO #1) March 2011 |
If you've not used an Add-An-Eighth ruler by CM Designs and a bookmark or sturdy straight edge for your paper piecing I have learned its a must for assembling pieces as small as these.
So what's on your Design Wall today? Check out other quilter's inspiring work at Patchwork Times. Keep quilting!

Very nice :)
seam rippers are our helpers... (believe me sometimes I'd rather just throw out the seam ripper ... sigh.) nice flower. I'm not sure I would try anything with such small pieces.
Very nice. I don't think I would EVER get used to all those tiny pieces.
Flower is lovely, again sooooooooo many tiny pieces....This will be another great quilt to add to your beautifu collection.
It does look good. And eventually you get "ept-er". I use the Add-A-Quarter when I paperpiece.

Beautiful! Never tried the ad-a-quarter thingie though, but haven't dared anything so small either...
Wow, another great flower. This will be a beautiful quilt when it is finished! And your March UFO is almost finished-wish I could say the same. The clover seam ripper has become my favorite!
My seam ripper is my BFF!
That is a beautiful block!
