Sunday Stash Report, January 3, 2016

Today is the first reckoning of 2016 with our fabric stash.  Mine starts with a bunch of zeros!

Used this week:  0 yards
Used YTD:  0 yards
Purchased this week:  0 yards

Net used in 2016:  0 yards

I am busy working on Kontentment today.

I have all the blocks done and ready to cut into some red yardage for the triangle that goes into the setting block units.  The pieced units were done in earlier parts of the mystery so assembly should go swiftly.  Then the on-point setting will be the next step.

I do have a little bit of a dilemma in selection of the inner "yellow" border.  I have four fabrics to choose between.  I really like the bright yellow as a first choice.  I am thinking it might be too bright though.  Next is the muted one at the top, but it might be too muted.  Decisions, decisions...  An audition is coming.  Hope you tune in tomorrow to help me make the right choice.

Kastaway piecing was finished.  This glamour kitty is all decked out and ready for whatever adventure comes her way.

I close my post today in reflection of my brother Steve.  It is always a difficult day even though eight years have rolled by without him.  Hugs to Heaven...

Beautiful quilt--am sure whichever fabric wins the audition it will be beautiful in the quilt. My father died in 2007 and I miss him everyday.

Very pretty quilt. So sorry you still feel the sadness of your loss.

The mystery quilt looks very nice. I knew that you would be well on the way once you got going. You will make the right decision on which yellow to use. Steve has been on my mind all day long, so many questions of why,and how things would have been, God took him away from us way to soon.

You've made great progress on your mystery quilt and the cat is quite crazy! A little different than the projects you usually make! Thoughts with you as you mourn your brother.

Wow! Kontentment looks great!! Really love the colors on this one and the design is very pleasing. You are so on top of things! Can't believe how you keep up, with all you are doing besides just this.
Blessings to your family as you remember someone special to you that has gone on ahead.

Don't you just love how the Mystery Quilt ended! I am not quite as far as you are! LOL! Hard to believe it has been 8 years since Steve passed. Thoughts are with you!
