I made a huge amount of progress before going to sleep.  This had to do with getting in the sewing room earlier...we had leftovers!  What's not to like with spaghetti the second night?
Kalvert Kliffs
March UFO
I took a suggestion from Janet about the inner border.  I do agree that a light fabric might be a better choice.  I was pretty partial to the green so I found another fabric where there was just enough to do the job.  I have the main top sewn together right now.  The inner border will go on later today and then of course the pieced units for the next border.  The more I look at this project the more I think that the pieced border will finish Kalvert Kliffs.  A dark green fabric is on my mind for the binding when the time comes.  Not sure if Marti at 52quilts.com can wait for my finish late tonight.  I'll warn her it's coming...=^.^=...

You have made great progress. Another couple of productive days and you will be able to call this baby a beautiful finish

You can do it! Looking forward to seeing it in the parade. I'm liking your version better than the original. I like the green border, and look forwars to seeing it a completed top.

I think that green is perfect! This is a beauty (just another in a long line of them that come from you and your machine)!
