Tonight is Bunko, with fabric FQs as anty and the prizes. I wonder if my winning streak will continue? In December I won red and green batiks and last month I won red, cream, and blue batiks. This month the anty is blue and teal batiks. It is always batiks! Memory Lane Quilt Shop in El Cajon has the game first Monday of each month.
On my design wall (which should be shared with Kerry) is the project we are making for the San Diego Humane Society's 25th Annual Fur Ball "dancing with the dogs". We've been donating a quilt for their fundraising activities during the event for several years now. We've got quite a bit done from a pattern we are deriving from Thimble Creek Quilts Ichabod Hollow designed by Joe Ward. There are five different borders. Border 1 (picket fence) and 3 (checkerboard) are done. I've got a few more pieces to finis on Border 4. Kerry is working on Border 2. Once we have these done we will decide on what fabrics need to be in Border 5. We are going to have Snoopy dancing below a disco ball with twinkling stars scattered on the blue background. The background gets trimmed down 2" all the way around, but I'm thinking Snoopy needs to be bigger...

Have you seen those little glue on rhinestones? You could use them for the disco ball! lol I've just come from our state quilt show, and there were several quilts that had used them....they look amazing in underwater sea scapes....beautiful twinkles!
