I will be starting this week off with not too much more to go on Kutarug!

There must be more units made as you can see no more orange or red and very little black remain to build more rows.  I don't want to make more than what is needed for certain!  I have estimated the need for 980 pinwheel units that finish at 2" in the quilt.  This means making four hour glass units for each pinwheel unit.  Calculating this comes to 3,920 1" finished hour glass units for the project.  WOW!

Today at lunchtime I'll be cutting the HSTs (blue/gold) units in half and finger pressing the seams open.  Minimizing bulk with this treatment of the seams.  The stack that is white/red is also ready for cutting in half and finger pressing the seams towards the dark; you guessed right to think these are for more hour glass units.  Bonnie sometimes helps so I will have a stack of white that need a pencil mark on the diagonal.  These will be for more orange and black hour glass units.  Looking forward to another two rows being sewn together.

What an accomplishment this is! The numbers of units you have already made are mind boggling!
