Katchaklaus is front and center on my Design Wall today. Over the weekend all the santas were stitched. Next came the trimming of each block. I worked on the stars and the signs until I ran out of white felted wool. The block on the lower right corner still needs a sign. A run to Country Loft in La Mesa is in my future.
Next came the checkerboard sashing. It will go together quick once I have it all cut into the 1.5" sections. The first photo shows two of the units stitched.

The checkerboard sashing really adds a zing to the quilt top. I love your rich color scheme. What are the signs supposed to say?
Wow! Your Santa's are looking great! Looking forward to getting back to mine.
They are wonderful! You've done a fantastic job with these santas.
Santa is looking so good, is the green bucket to catch some raindrops,or for scraps???
My design wall is the very best thing I have ever made, truly, and when I see all the santas on yours, know how much a wall helps with looking at blocks and deciding on colours.
Santa's look great. I really like the checkerboard you are using for your sashing. Makes those dear Santa's ready to talk to you. Yes, glad that you had a bit of rain.
