Do you recall the recycled blue jean quilt that I gifted Marco not long ago?  I received this from him on Monday.  He writes "This card says it best.  Thank you very much for the afghan, it is one of the nicest things I have ever received."  I'm thrilled that he likes it so much and was able to say so...

So what do you think of the borders?  I ran out of room on my design wall to put the last three borders on the top section, but you can see where this is going.  I have a bunch more to sew together; this weekend I should be in a position to put it all together.
This is Sunshine's BOM.  It was a different technique putting it together.  Everyone was provided the shamrock 2 1/2" square and then a strip of white on white 2 1/2" wide.  I think it will make for a nice St. Patrick's Day project.  Hope the winner can get it done for our next "lucky holiday".

Have you been sewing this week?

The borders are stunning!! Wow, what you have done with those blocks is incredible. They were great to start with, but you have really enhanced them!
What a nice little block of green. : )
Did your Mom tell you what she sent me? She is a sweetheart!

I like the borders, the yellow and the setting is really a show stopper. Sweet quilt.
I also like the Irish block, some one will be happy to win those blocks.

Like the borders and the pop of yellow. Betty showed it to us at the retreat yesterday and everyone loved it.
