UFO Complete! Did I have a good day? Certainly any time a project is finished it's a good day! Komatose is finished, YIPPEE! This Bonnie Hunter design is called Lazy Sunday. It was anything but considering the pieced border. I have a teal scrappy binding planned and a white back. I'm thinking white thread at the moment. This project finishes all the UFOs I planned to complete this year. Now on to other things...
This is a new pattern that I sent my 49 cent SASE off to yesterday. Have you seen it on the back of the December 2015 Issue 137 of American Patchwork & Quilting? The information to get one for yourself is on there. It is by Jackie Robinson of Animas Quilts introducing the Basic Black& Beiges fabric collection by Benartex. AWESOME!
In the meantime I'll be getting back to the project from the workshop I attended recently. Anxious to stitch a few frogs again from the design by Buggy Barn. Hope your Friday was a good one. Enjoy your weekend.

Great finish - it is stunning!
Where can I purchase that magazine? I haven't seen it at Walmart and was wondering if Joann's would have it. I love that pattern. I was doing some research and it directed me to Benartex.com to get a free pattern of the quilt, but under "Free Patterns" it wasn't listed. Guess I'll just have to find the magazine and purchase it with a SASE. Thanks for sharing Sandi - I love that quilt and think it would look great in different shades of purple. Thanks for sharing. Debra
Oh, I forgot one more thing - I wish you would take that Cat Wilson workshop with me on Saturday the 17th. Do you think Kerry would as well? I need all the help I can get when it comes to those Quiltworx patterns? Confused - duh!!!!! hehehehehehhehehe Have a great weekend!!!!
Debra
The border on Komatose really takes it up a notch. Nice!
That is a great pattern you sent for. Are you planning to use the color scheme shown?
Wow, Kamotose is beautiful and with a teal binding it will make the whole quilt pop. This is by
a keeper, really nice and look at all that work. What colors are you going to do the one you sent for? Good job, aren't Fridays off wonderful?
Did you tell Deb where to buy the magazine? I thought they had quit publishing -- but I want that pattern, too! Ruth's Stitchery is buying this entire line of fabric, and I'll volunteer to sew the shop sample!
Your quilt is beautiful!
