Design Wall Monday, April 21, 2014

On my Design Wall today is Kranberries.  I have been sewing pretty steadily this weekend.  I have the first border of flying geese sewn in place.  Next is the string border.  I have all the string sections sewn; only need to measure for size and sew in place.  The last border of flying geese is sewn too; it will be next.  It is coming together pretty quick now.  I won't be able to get this one off the floor.  The string and flying geese section that is on the far right goes on the bottom...wow this is one big project.  It was great having the strings and nine patches done in the most recent swap.
This project has to be kept in the bag!  It is a secret...  Anyone ever done a Whisper Challenge?  I have a plan in mind.  I will be starting this project as soon as Kranberries is done!

Enjoy your week!  More to see through the links at Patchwork Times.

Love Kranberries, hope you intend on keeping this one for yourself. Never heard of that type of challenge.

Kranberries is luscious in its many shades of red. And it is huge! Even though it doesn't all fit on the wall, aren't you glad you have a big design wall that will accommodate most of it?
I've never heard of a whisper challenge.

Oh... just gorgeous! That is one big quilt, too. Love it, love it. I haven't heard of a whisper challenge either.

Kranberries is one of my absolute favorites. I've enjoyed seeing this quilt every step of the way!

What's a Whisper Challenge? Something secret?

Loving all those strips of red in Kranberries. Thanks for posting your progress. It is nice and big. May have to go on my quilt list---just sparkles with the light backgrounds!!!

I have done a whisper challenge. It was fun and challenging. We did 4 "rounds". Go for it! It doesn't have to be Bonnie sized!
