I captured this shot of North Island and the Coronado Bridge on my August 29th flight. I don't usually take photos from the airplane, but this sight as I headed to Dulles International was worth the click.
I started right in on binding quilts that my mom had waiting. She made the paper pieced heart blocks and I created a simple layout to finish it off. I had just enough of the jumbo rick rack to add to the border. It turned out sweet. I'm already on to the next quilt... This one will go to a charity in mom's area.
