Sunday Stash Report, May 4, 2025

A complete finish with Kirilowii (Indigo Way).  This is a 2024 UFO!  It has the same colors as Karolina Krossroads (Carolina Crossroads) that was my last complete project to share with you.  I actually started making Karolina Krossroads during my clean up from the scraps of Kirilowii.  I thought, why not work on Karolina Krossroads while the fabrics were all around me.  There are some slight differences in colors, but pretty much the same.  One last Bonnie Hunter to complete is Double Delight.  Kerry challenged me and I can't let this challenge go.  Look for more on Double Delight tomorrow =^.^=

Friday was a day to sew at Rosie's.  Instead of sewing I cut out the units for another Sunshine Retreat project.  This is an easy one from Fat Quarter Shop's 2025 Cupid Box.  I figured it would be an easy start to the projects that will be worked on during the retreat.  I would like to see this project finished before receiving the 2025 Liberty Box that was just announced for pre-ordering.  Yes, I did pre-order.

My things to bring to the Sunshine retreat are being gathered so I won't forget anything.  The fabrics on the left are for the service project, breast cancer patient bags and pillows.  We did this last year and will do it again this year.  The three (yes they are all the same) FQs for the Left Right Center Game and the spool of thread for a Bingo Game.  There is a Small Gift Swap, but I won't spoil the surprise.  Thanks mom for helping me out with the crafty trinkets.

I maybe should keep this a surprise too, but since I gave you a glimpse at the flower on Wednesday Workings, why not?  I started off with the watering can then let my imagination bring in the hat.  Of course the water coming from the spout needed to be watering something!  This block will need to be trimmed down by the winner of the In the Garden blocks.  The flower's leaves at the base should be at the seam with about a 1/2" from each of the outside edges of the applique remaining of the background.  How this is done will be the winner's discretion.

Nothing changes the stash numbers.  The applique pieces don't even warrant a calculation although the fabrics all came from my stash.  So on this first Stash Report of May 2025...
