This is Block 8 of Sharyn Craig's Building Block series.  It is called Hard Hat.  The black and white prints were so busy that I decided on a solid like yellow fabric instead of something more "printy".

 I'm still on track to have half of Konstituent's blocks ready to sew by Friday.  This UFO is on the fast track so I can get back to the gazillion flying geese required for Kranberries.

    Love the black/white and yellow combo. I have a lot of black/white and red that I bought years ago to make a quilt and never did. That is on my mental list to make this year.

    Good call on the yellow--calms things down and gives the eye a resting place.
