Khorous, #3 2014 UFO
I just finished Kohorous this weekend. It is a project that will come up some month during 2014; I will be that month ahead! Khorous was taken in a workshop just a week ago with Linda Ballard. Her design is called Harmony Square. I decided since I needed a boy quilt for my great nephew Logan making it with a pirate theme would work well. I plan to have a pirate quilted in each of the Snow Ball blocks. Perhaps I should rename it Kaptain Khorous...what do you think? Until I get #6 February 2014 going nothing else for my design wall right now. This February project is called Oasis by Sally Frey. It uses a Friendship Star unit and a Square in a Square unit. The overall size is 64" x 86" but I think I'll make mine a row shorter. I still need to work on my black tote pan being able to shut better so considering blacks, grays and a bright accent color. Stay tuned this week as I start putting Kasbah together. Lots more to see today through the links of PatchworkTimes.com.
Yes I definitely think Kaptain in the name would be appropriate. Very cute as usual.
ReplyDeleteIt is a bold and striking design--suitable for a Kaptain, I'd say! : )
ReplyDeleteLove the name Kaptain Khorous, what fun that will be quilting the pirates.
