Kayenne
80" x 92"
May 2016 UFO

Kayenne is complete and boy is this one snazzy project.  It is High Desert Paprika by Valori Wells.  It was the 2007 Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show Raffle Quilt design.  I have had two wonderful visits since May when this UFO was to be finished, but both of them were well worth the delay.  I am happy to be ready for stitching Kookoo Katchu my June UFO.  It's exciting to have a change to my Design Wall!
Empty Design Wall
Kookoo Katchu will be lots of flying geese units and a bit of retro looking applique.  In shades of blue with a yellow gold accent.  Honestly I couldn't visual this project in any other color combination.  Totally different then Kayenne you must agree; nothing like variety =^.^=

  1. Kayenne, a so apt name, and super stunning . I have popped into your blog a lot lately, but life has been a mite busy and stressed lately, so not many comments anywhere. Enjoy that empty wall, guess it will be full again soon.

*LOL* Fun to see the empty design wall. That never lasts long at your house, I'm guessing. : )
Such a fresh, pretty new project. You will whip it out in no time, as usual.

    1. Thanks Debra. Valori Wells designed this project. At first one might think it was a Judy Neimeyer.
